How Does American Cuisine Stack Up Against Other Countries?

i like bbq and all but my favorite foods are true chinese food not aa knock off and authentic phillipino food

America is a cultural melting pot. People from all over the world came here and brought various dishes from their native lands. I'm not sure if there is such thing as true American food. I'd have to research it.

while there are similar things, I don't think there's anything made the same exact way it is

pretty sure peanut butter is american, lol.



but, yeah, it's hard to say anything is exclusively american as was said before as this country is built on migration and the only thing truly american is from "native" peoples
