Ok, thanks :) I'm gona go buy some and put that into my 29gallon ( front tank ) and my other 20 gallon tank.

Almost forgot, If you were to leave ( shrimp ) in your tank and it started to decay. Could that cause your amonia to spike?

The thing with dead shrimp and such to cycle a tank/filter is all this ya hear about flesh eating bacteria. When the shrimp is gone, what happens to the bacteria and fungus that decayed the shrimp/fish/dead thing. Normally I would say don't worry about it but I killed a tank full of mollies by not paying attention to random bacteria & fungus.

To get all of the ammonia you could possibly need to cycle a tank, just have a few beers and wait half an hour.
