How does one manage to handle mold and humidity when making a huge pond?

I could always just use several heaters in a sump to heat it as well
Those would be resistive electric heaters though. Might be less cost effective if your home water heater is a heat pump water cylinder or natural gas/ LPG if that's cheaper where you are.

If your water cylinder is electric might as well put heaters in the pond or a sump.

Oh well, I don't feel comfortable using my water heater to heat a pond, I guess I'll just get a smaller tank with a heater, I know for a fact I want to get a fahaka puffer, I would like an arowana, a redtail or ripsaw catfish, some oscars, some gar, and a green terror. A fahaka can be kept in a 220 easily, a green terror would be fine in a 70 gallon, idk what heater I'd use for a 500 gallon tank or something like that where i'd have a gar, arowana, or something like that. Eh well, a fahaka puffer and green terror would be more than enough for me :D
