yes iam thinking about it, but worried about getting wrong wood, my parent's have a huge oak tree, got some branches <big behind shed, been there 2year's...what do you think

I don't know if I would risk it :nilly: I have only used actual driftwood.
You would definitely want to make sure there is no sap left in the branch.

What's the blue fish with a reddish tail? next to the tinfoil barb?
If you mean picture (9) then that is a redtailed black shark!!!!!!

Ok cool:D for example i go down to the river and find some driftwood how would i know it would be ok for my tank? thank's in advance:popcorn:

I agree I don't like the pots but they serve a purpose, grow some plants around them to hide them a bit but apart from that I like it

Well if it's driftwood there shouldn't be any bark on it....should look smooth.
Look around and find a piece that is shaped right for your tank.
Once you find the right piece take a wire brush and go over it to get any loose stuff off of it and then boil it.
I let the driftwood sit in the bath tub for a while with the hottest water I can get :)
You could also use a large trash can.
