What size tank is that? Those Dats look huge.
It's a 180,I haven't gotten around to moving them to the 265 since I resealed it.
Dude that's a serious collection of dats right there! I gotta look you up next time I'm in Philly.
My ST sickness started with you bro...got my first one from ya.

I keep mostly African Cichlids.

The big Frontosas will be on one side seems like they are used to the routine and patiently waits. One or 2 Fronts are curious enough that they follow the hose around.

For Haps and Peacocks, they go about their normal business of swimming around. I constantly have to tap them out of the way.

After the WC, they are will actively swing around with constant spawning dance. For the bigger and more aggressive Haps, they will be more aggressive more like re-establishing their dominant status, but nothing serious.

My stuff just swims and watches my hand.. I can touch them and they stay calm and just swim around. But most stock has been raised from a young age and seems to know its nothing to worry about.

Mine would mostly always just act the same.

The exception was Drogo, my black aro. He'd swim around my hand to get petted like a cat.

When he was younger, my fish used to attack the syphon. He bit me once when I made the mistake of putting my hand in front of his face...it bled LOL.

Now, he just headbutts my arm and nips my fingers...no teeth this time though! :woot:

Lol, my fish are always calm. It's always my Acara and Tiger Barbs really interested in the vacuum. My Flagtail really enjoys the waterfall of fresh water :)

Sick Dats Krich, I hadn't seen them before!!:)

Thanks Rock, and cool that you have a flagtail.Ive been after one for some time...

When I do the left side, they move to the right...or I gently move them in that direction so they don't get in the way of the siphon...and vice-versa. When the water level starts to get low, my odoe pike jumps straight up into the glass lids like a maniac...and even though I know he is going to do it...It startles the hell out of me...EVERY TIME!

Haha yep,the odoe I had used to carry on the same way when I did water changes.
