I work at Stetson University and It's a pretty good private school in Florida. Students there pay 40+ to go there. But lucky for me if I work there for a year I get free tuition! I still have to pay for books but heck that's nothing!

Touition is expensive enough at public schools. Clearly people pay those prices though, or the schools wouldn't exist.

Community College FTW! lol

I'll be going to a a 4-year after though. And the government pays my tuition since were broke as can be as a family. But it's all good, you learn many things when you don't have loads of money.

being humble and having to work for what you get is a good thing ;)

Yeah, being broke and West Virginian is helping me with college.

I go to a High School with a less than stellar reputation in a county with its priorities completely screwed up, in a state that is willing to help.

We're pretty much broke too, and WV offers the Promise Scholarship, which allows students with certain grade, test score, attendance, and discipline requirements to get into WV public universities without having to pay tuition. Needless to say, without this, i would be leaving college hugely in debt.

NEXT YEAR!!!! :D

ONU is pretty expensive, im from around that area. I would be more worried about how strict and not fun that place is(completely dry, chapel, students cant drink, curfew, cant go to bars even if youre 21). Its not much different pricewise than alot of other private schools though, just make sure you keep that scholarship.

For a private university that dosent seem bad. There is a private high school in Newport beach, Ca. that I did some work at one summer tuition
is $26,000 per year for HIGH SCHOOL, the catch is that 96% of students get into a four year university.
Sage Hill High School. About 25,000 annually I believe.

Small world...Stetson was one of the universities I applied to. Decided I wanted to be closer to home and go to a Tech school instead.

Anyways I'm paying around that for a PUBLIC education ;)

that way to high, might as well just enroll into college

College is easy to get into, it just about getting it for free.
30k is reasonable for a private college, but high for a public college.

This is my judgment from my area, and i do know that it is a lot harder to get into college In Cali

If it can't beat UCLA's tuition, I think its too expensive...

Commuter = $19,503

I guess I'm being biased here...
