how far would you drive for a deal?

For a fish, 2 maybe 3 hours at most. Just cause I would worry too much and keep looking over at it and making sure it's okay and try to drive at the same time.

But for tanks, especially a nice 125, as long as it can be done in a day, I'm up for anything.

I wouldnt care how far i had to drive for something i really wanted, i once drove a few hours to pick up a RTC (my first fish for my 7 footer) and when i got there he had the RTC 2 syno's a 2ft eel and quite a few others in a tank that the RTC could not even turn round in, they were all in such a mess that i could not leave them there and ended up paying double the price for a whole load of dying fish that he did not want to sell even though i told him they would be dead in a few days if left like that, but it was awesome to nurse them back to health and see them so happy in there new home.
Sorry for such a soppy story guys - lol.

well guy didnt get back to me so that sucks. thinking it over and reading some of these posts makes me want it more. also measured the car to see if it fits and it does. btw i drive an suv :/

Just recently drove 2hrs 45min one way to get my fahaka puffer. But it was free and was a major hook up from a fellow member. If gas was steal(yes steal) 4bucks plus a gallon I still would have went.

Petrol is now cheap again and I love driving so many hours for fish related pickup is no problem

rode/drove from MD to KY and back for some dats/bass/misc fish with islander671. i think it was about 9 hours each way...

drove from Edmonton to Vancouver to pick up my tig's.. 800km each way.
