how far would you go to keep your prized fish???

like the title says

the farthest i would go is to work 2 jobs (to pay for my uses of water and electricity) and sacrific my tv, and (and electricity:D) armour. Id put my dresser outside my room :ROFL:

id like to get my tank to my moms.

currently my house uses regular light bulb, but id swtich them all to energy effient bulbs

it would be brighter, but hey if it uses less wattage, its good for me.:thumbsup:


currently my dads is about to buy a new truck and run a sum 1500 gallon pond on 2 3/4 HP pool pumps, TAKE COVER!!!! :WHOA:

what about you guys? how far would you go?
 
well, when my 300 started to leak I dropped $600 that I didnt really have to get a new tank.
I stopped cooling a couple of rooms to cut back on cost, and I'm making everything (besides the tank) from scratch to get my new 300 running. It's a lot of manual labor! lol
 
I'd spend thousands of dollars to get my prized fish...how's that?

Realistically, I work 30+ hours a week, just spent over $1000 on a 120g setup, and try not to spend money on things I won't need. I think of things in terms of fish ie "spending the weekend down the shore is about the same as 2-3 good quality widebars"
 
Ive gone so far as to get my wife enraged and get into mega fights with her.
I would go into details but the single folks might get too traumatized.

:iagree: :lol3: same for me she even said one night if i jumped into that tank or pond would you pay more atention to me. I looked her up and down and said you jump into my tank and we will be getting divorced for the second time but thats another story:naughty:
 
Up untill this morning I was planning out a 1000 gal setup for my ATF.. I was going to buy a house and make sure it was set up to house a beast of a tank. Well I guess I don't need to buy a house now.. :(
 
i refurbished a whole room and bought all new furniture just so i could fit a 180g.
first though i stopped smoking and used all the money saved to buy my full set up and the fish i have in it
 
i dont drink do drugs or hookers so what else am i going to spend my hard earnned money on :D

but i would travel anywere for a fish i really want within the EU
 
I have sold my old ps2 and xbox to help pay for my new tank and fish. My wife is always yelling that I love my fish more than her. She has told me she would put a few drops of bleach in my tanks everyday til my fish died. i told her do it and she will also know how it feels to breathe bleach.. (i woulnt really do it)
