Lol. Worst comeback ever. I even went to the site to see if you had me for a second...and what do you know it doesnt exist. Doesnt take me a long time to read, in fact I like reading which is why I learn the things I do. If you did the same, you would have seen all those threads and articles about EXACTLY what your question was.

Im done here.

and I am sure you understand the consequences of anything that you wrote.
This can go on and on... meanwhile I'll be happy to see more useful comments..

What happend to this thread, it started about how much food a MBU needs and then it got a bit weird???

exactly,.. it was just a simple question, then some people turned up, and instead of giving answers, they just went on with something else.
Otherwise there is no point of having puffer discussion in this forum, if people just dodge away the question that was being asked.
Truly, if people are not interested in answering the question, they can just simply ignore it, and go somewhere else, how hard is that..

my mbu grow about 5"to 6" in first 5weeks, now its on 6th weeks. i feed it one pawn per day. however he always stay at the bottom of the tank, and not moving much.
he is in 65gallon. i will move him soon into 100gal with my stingray pups. i hope puffer wont go after stingrays' eyes.

I wouldn't chance it. How many rays? Way too much bioload, I'm afraid.

wouldnt chance it? about mbu might hurt my rays or about bioload?

pls do not concern the bio-load for me. i have experience with many larger fish. i have grow rays from 7" to 26"disc size. i understand how much a 6" puffer bio load can be.

^ I think PP means shes worried your MBU might pick on the rays... since i think i've read some where that puffers in general see rays eyes as snails... especially when they are buried in the sand...

i see, what if it is bare tank... probably still chance of happening. i guess i wont risk my thousands dollar of ray then.

thanks

^ If it was bare bottom as you mentioned i guess you still are risking it, as a puffer may not be able to differentiate between an eye and a snail...

So as you said, probably best not to chance it... also have to consider that if the ray was provoked, it could also put its stinger through your puffer causing the puffers demise...

I have a 5 inch mbu in a 180g there's is 7 rainbows ,4 torpedo barbs and 6 scissor fish that should not be to much bio load hey? i plan on getting more fish in there too. if i do 50% water changes our more a week bio load should be fine right
