How fast did your Geos grow?

I wish my geos would hit a growth spurt so they'll be a decent size soon. They eat a lot actually. I feed them NLS every day and also give them flakes and bloodworms. It's frustrating because I've owned other slow growing fish like datnoids but I could see them grow month to month. I think my geos have grown a little (maybe 1/2 inch) and I guess that's something, but I wish they would be monsters like yours!

Whoa, I love all the red and the spangling on the fins of your red heads. That's really impressive.

S. leucosticta - only had wild adults

A. heckelii - 6 months from 1.5" to 6-7"

G. altifrons - only have wild adults



Thanks for sharing pics of your geos. My heckeliis are starting to show nice colors and has a little threadfin now. Hope my geos can be as nice as yours some day. What's your secret? Do you do lots of water changes or feed them something special?

Actually they do get a large water change every two days. In terms of food, they have Xtreme small pellets as staple with some supplements (color bits, veggie pellets) and treats (frozen blood worms and freeze dried black worms). Warm clean water and good food...I'm sure they'll have a spurt soon!
 
My juruapri is the same way only like 1/2 inch every month hes getting there but slowly the heckelli caught up to him now hes in for a run haha love Geos they are my favorite fish and i love the one S. daemon that peath has its super cool gotta get my hands on one of them
