How frequent do you do water changes ?

Don't forget when doing water changes, to leave your python above water level. Keeping below water level can cause a build-up of gasses from the pressure of your tap water. Some fish do not handle this well at all, especially Apistos and Discus. I kept having strange issues with my community tank, and come to find out it was because I was doing my WC wrong. Leave the Python above water, so gas exchange can occur as the new water enters the tank.

If you see a bunch of tiny micro-bubbles accumulating on everything in your tank, then this is what I am talking about. It wasn't a problem in my community tank, until one day those little tiny bubbles turned into a real bad outbreak of Ich..? I did 50% a week on that tank too, so it wasn't water quality issues I'm thinkin..

TFH on a number of occasions has mentioned this in articles, however they have not done an article specifically on that..

Geez man that is crazy.. Why not just buy a python? That has to take you forever to do the pond

LOL, I do have a python, still in tits original wrapper. I never used it. I break the 8ft up into 2-3 days depending on how lazy I am. Oh yeah i work 80 hours a week and go to the gym 6 days a week. So whoever says they don't have time to do weekly water changes can kiss my ass.
