How good is the "slime coat" inside of Prime

Your welcome. I'm trying like heck to get my closed loop running. The Barracuda didn't get the flow I wanted. Chris at ReeFlo sent me a larger impeller and I just installed it today. Still not enough flow. I'm taking the Ocean Clear with the micron cartridge off now and going to see how much flow I gain with it out of the loop.

Chris said I may need to upgrade to a larger pump if this impeller didn't do the trick and he was willing to work with me on a trade. I can't say enough for ReeFlo and Chris when it comes to customer service. They are tops in class!!

Mine has .5 ammonia
and 20-40 ppm nitrate.

I would not dechlorinate it then personally. Your fish must be happy

Im beginning my monster tank soon probably in your tanks size range. PM me the contact if you can for this excellent customer service I am making the stand and sump but I am expecting to get a 400 gallon maybe 5. But its good to get referrals when your dealing with equipment of this expense

I use Prime because it's cheap and treats 2500 gallons for a 8 oz. bottle. With the way we MFK'ers do water changes we need something like this lol. Never really noticed what else it did sides dechlorinate, lol.

lol It says right on the front And werd about us MFKers needing cheap and effective de chlorinator I have four tanks in my living room alone. I do 60% water changes every single week.

belgium has very strik water parameters , i have quite softwater ( good discus water ) and no polution , alway's just dump it in the tank .

God thats awesome. Wish the states would get their sh** together 20 PPM is max drinkable and yolo county admits to seeing 26 with a simple phone call Im so going to the news with this crap... Unless they buy me a nice RO unit
