How hard is it to keep saltwater tanks? Coral Tanks?

Really I will go do that but if in the meantime if somebody wants to tell me what a nanocube is that would be very nice of you. I like using the board to gain information when others already posses that information. That is always better than having to go out and search the web for it.

YEs I found the board and joined it to ask some questions. I think that they ae very neat and interesting. I ahve a 10 gallon that I coudl see myself using to creat my first marien tank with live rock and soft coarals. Maybe even 1-2 fish.

But I am goign to see what is all required to do that. I think everyhting that I have is good except for my hood and lighting. I do not knwo what type of setup bulb and hood wise I would need to run a smal coral reef type tank. WOuld florescent work and if so what exactly woudl I need. Remember this is a 20" top to the tank so you are looking at 18" bulbs I am guessing.
