ok well i guess i can say i may have screwed up, i looked at your guy's dats:WHOA:, and now i want one:D, but the only one it sounds like could live with my cichlids in my 125 is a polota, so how hard are they to find? also could it even live with my 2 female jds, 1 male blood parrot, and ornate pim catfish? i was gonna also get some sajicas, firemouths and a nicaraguan, but would get rid of all of them for a dat:naughty:. thnx.

Silver/American datnoid, pretty much the most common and easiest datnoid to find. Would be fine with those fish listed.

About 2 years ago, baby silvers were in abundance. And baby IT and NTT were Hard to get hold off...
Recently I have not Seen many baby silvers. Just tons of baby Indos and a few small NTTs.
The silver tiger can more than handle himself
With other fish u have mentioned.

it's like that in the UK Ade, i looked for a silver for around 2 years once and only found one for sale then all of a sudden there was loads of small silver around when i was already sorted, it's the same for NGT and NTT although not on as great a scale.
as for the US though they seem to be around a bit more often.

I know a store that has a nice one that is almost eight inches in length but they won't sell it.They have it in a plant tank....with Discus of all things.
