At work we take in hundreds of tons a day of all the co-mingled recyclable household waste from the whole north west of England. If it doesn't come to us the other alternative is to land fill it all, which isn't going to happen due to environmental issues. We're down to a skeleton team and we all drive our own fork trucks or loading shovels, all with cabs on. We don't have any contact with one another, just "hand gestures" to one another through the glass cabs, lol. So as far as work goes nothing has really changed for me.

I like to keep myself fit and my exercise of choice is cycling and running. Both of these are allowed as part of your daily exercise regime. So nothing's changed on that front either.

My missus and kids on the other hand are totally the opposite. They haven't moved out the house for 3 weeks or so now! So i've been lumbered with the weekly shop, and I hate food shopping with a vengeance, but reading through this whole thread, i've got it easy compared to some.

A special shout out to Jexnell Jexnell too. Is he the only member to have had the virus so far, or have others had it too? Keep safe Jex.

I think so.

The decision on if we'll be moving from a level 4 lockdown to level 3 is supposed to be made today. I think there's a 50/50 chance.

When we move to level 3, retail businesses will be allowed to start operating, but will not be allowed to let customers into the store, curbside pickup only. We'll be allowed to drive again, takeaways can start operating.
Schools up to year 10 will start operating, which I think is a mistake, throwing a bunch of kids together who are useless at being hygenic at the best of times so that they can take the plague back home?

We're officially dropping to level 3 monday night.

So it's been three months since the first case was found in Seattle Washington, my state, as of today has 12,282 confirmed cases with 682 deaths. Inslee said today we won't be ready to move into phase one of restrictions relaxing by May 4th our current end point of our stay at home order.

I can see this going into the middle of summer. Once it gets warm and sunny the virus will die off and cases will quit poping up. They talk about 4/30 being our "release" date but there are still new cases being reported. I think people are still delusional. And honestly this qt is a joke here. People are not taking this seriously at all including the local government and enforcement is a joke. I live behind a church and they are still gathering there Sunday, Friday and Wednesday nights. I'm pretty sure the average thought is "no one gonna tell me what I can or can't do! Where's my dirty, been wearing, and touching it too much, shoulda got a new one , gross mask? I'm going to Walmart then church. Grandpa get in the car!"

I now work at home and the children run around the house and interfere with focus. So it also affected the work, I have a hard time in such an environment

While i can understand the frustration and stress (cant stand kids lol), try not to think of your children as burdens. After all, its not their fault they are there.

Totally not trying to be judgemental or preachy btw, ive just heard this from a few people recently and had some thoughts.

Along this line, you all will be happy to know that The Wet Spot is an essential business due to selling fish meds/food and is still open. Still shipping as well but all carriers have rescinded any on time guarantees.

Glad to hear that you're making a steady recovery.

This guy was shipped to me from the wet spot weeks ago. He too was sitting in quarantine at the time waiting to join others the main tank LOL.

I got unwatched from this thread for some reason.
Fine time for me to get sick, I have some sort of mystery illness nobody can seem to diagnose where I get spinning, paralyzing headache attacks at seemingly random times throughout the day with absolutely no warning. I can still smell (so hopefully no corona...?), but this has been going on for two weeks.

I've been stung by toadfish (a close relative of the stonefish, the sting of which is widely accepted as the most painful thing on earth) and these headaches are worse. Neurologist recommended me an MRI but can't get one because the hospitals are closed.

Again, no diagnosis, no treatment except tons of Advil and Tylenol whenever the attacks come on. I can get as many as 4 a day, and because you have to wait 6 hours in between painkiller doses, sometimes I literally can't do anything.

Don't want to say it can't get any worse in case I immediately get coronavirus.

What would it require where you are for them to give you a covid test? Is it that you're not displaying what they believe are the symptoms?
