How has the coronavirus affected your personal life?

Who knows why it impacts people so differently. I think the Biden announcement shed a dark light on the reality that the powers that be just want to turn the bodies of the American people into sacks of money that they can punch whenever they want to extract dollar bills from. It would make no sense not to exclude people who already had the disease otherwise. You can already see this in Israel where they are on their fourth shot and are saying that people need to get it every six months indefinitely or they cant live life. While having the worst covid outbreak they have ever had.

Of course they are using division to enforce this. It is an open fact that they have been deploying behavioral psychology techniques through the media and bots online to try to scare people. For whatever reason it may be it seems that people who would be considered more on the political left are more susceptible to this. But then they turn around and say to the people not being influenced by it: “look at those lefties closing your business and stealing your rights, go get em!”

The reality is that it doesn’t matter what someone’s political beliefs or leanings are. You are a sack of money and they are going to extract it all from you. Whatever cost that is to you or anyone or everyone is of no consequence to them. While the people are divided, the powerful are united.

I have the utmost admiration and respect for most medical personnel and caregivers, who are now faced with a greater degree of personal risk than they probably ever bargained for when they entered their chosen field.

But the type of whining displayed in that Facebook post simply insults those people and cheapens their contribution to society. I wear a level of PPE every day, all day, which makes that outfit look like a pair of flip-flops and bathing trunks by comparison. I don't like it, don't bellyache about it and certainly don't brag about it.

It's like a cabbie wearing seatbelts; part of the job, nothing more and nothing less.

Well then according to this theory there is no such thing as a “fully vaccinated person”.

I don’t see that as whining, I see it as a reality check for the masses that are indeed whining, about the discomfort they are forced to experience by wearing a mask when shopping at Walmart for an hour or less. Boo fricken hoo

The childish whining of Walmart shoppers is not mitigated by more whining from overworked exhausted medical personnel...if we are to assume that to be the source of that Facebook post. I'm sure that some of them are capable of posting it, but I suspect and hope that the majority of them are above that.

Insults and denigrating comments are more likely to entrench people's world views, right or wrongly held that they might be.

This holds true regardless of a person's current opinion or perspective as we see from either side of any issue

I don’t see health care workers seeking out anti maskers, or antivaxers, at their place of work, to harass them like we witnessed here in AB recently. Made me sick watching these aholes standing outside a building where cancer patients are being treated, because they think that their rights are being violated.

Sorry, but I am hardly concerned about a post that someone in health care, may or may not have posted on facebook regarding masks.

I definitely found myself annoyed by people that got hostile with the poor door greeter that was tasked with asking people to wear a mask. if you don't want to wear one shop someplace else but don't go off on the minimum wage worker just doing their job

Equally so with those that would storm across the store and get face to face with an unmasked shopper. If you are concerned that they might be spreading a pathogen why would you get so close to them and risk exposure?
