How having a lot of reptiles can get you arrested (Then released)

I heard that a man got arrested for growing "Pot" in his house, when in fact he wasn't growing anything at all. The police helicopters go around and check for certain "Heat" rooms in your house where you can be growing pot, well a man who owned a lot of reptiles and had a lot of heat lamps running got arrested by the police for a short period of time, then i guess they released him when they realized weed and reptiles weren't the same thing

LOL yeah I heard about that!

If someone suddenly buys a bunch of heat lamps, or if their electricity goes up out of nowhere they might suspect you're trying to grow weed.

Yeah this is getting more common nowadays. There are a few people on larger coral forums who got their front doors kicked in because their high output MH lights heated up the house to look like a farm.

The best part is that over in CA i believe a bunch of guys set up a huge MH over Christmas trees to prove that cops do illegal searches. The police raided their house based on the suspect voltage... thats it and when asked to produce a warrant they couldn't.
