I put a digital thermometer in my 120gallon with my 2arowanas, oscar, lima,2 bichirs, and my 2 royal plecos and i dident notice how high my water temp was untill now. I was just curious what a good water temp should be for these fish.

how about you tell us what the temp is and we'll let you know if it's ok!

(78-85 has been cool with me)

ergh i thought i put the temp on there its 85.6My fish seem to be find i was just a lil scared for them. I turned it down a lil i think.

Yea, that should be ok. Just make sure it well oxygenated and keep in mind that it will increase metabolism, meaning you may need to do more water changes:)

I do 10% wend and sunday(twice a week). I think i'm gona turn the temp down to around 82.
and see how they act.

as long as they are introduced to the warmth slowly they should be alright. Just rember if your are going to cool the water dont let it drop more then 2 degrees an hour.

I would up your WC amounts Either 2- 25% or 5- 10% wc a week. I do a 50% once a week at least.

W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y and Sunday changes is a good schedule. When you're lowering the tanks temp, do so by no more than 2 degrees a day. A sudden drop will tax the fish's immune systems and leave them vulnerable to diseases like ich.
