How I Clean my Filter Pads

during the summer I rinse mine in the yard, makes great fertilizer. Also all my water changes go on the lawn during the summer. I hook a pump up through a sprinkler for my large indoor ponds and presto fish poo fertilizer. Grass never looked so good.

I have a large drum and pump outside my window. Fish water goes into the drum, the pump waters the garden. Really nice veggies.

90% of the "waste" water from my tank go to the back yard... my grass are greener in the back than the front....
