Well I can go on forever, but I have things to do.
This was not done to ask Q's. I simply posted a way that I clean the bottom of my tank (in Re: pooh) and described how. Then as I typed this, I asked on how other people clean the pooh situation as to get more feed back on how others do so.
N-E-Ways this thread was meant for people who have the brain to understand what they read (too much for you). Hope you understand the fish that you have, At least!

Edited for spelling and grammar a little bit.
:):):) Sorry.

Ah time for the S.W.A.T Team again... Ercnan stop being an *** and understand that this was an information post (Not a bad one either, Thanks for your method WEST1) and in no way said that he wasn't interested in spending money on his fish ... rather that he wasn't interested in spending money to clean pooh.:screwy:

Your trying to stir up trouble on something for NO REASON, simply because you mis-understood what the post was in fact saying. This is a great post for someone on a budget... this forum is full of young kids that have little to no money and would prob love this low cost solution to a problem that most here have... Use some common sence when posting ... I'm sure your parents taught you that if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all ... or in the case type...

To me, I like the bare bottom tank. Also I can focus on cleaning the fish pooh better. I feel bad for fish since they have to swim and eat next to their own pooh. So I simply dont feel the need to invest my money on something to clean the pooh. I dont have a bad problem with the pooh, I just make time to keep my fish healthy, the best I can. I'm investing on tearing down a wall to make a 12'X5'X3or4' custom tank for my ATF'S and maybe a Ray or Two. Then I will drop some N'z on the pooh cleaner :) (tank will not get ordered till next yr though, I need to remodel my house first).

If I explained anything wrong, my bad. I was just trying to tell people what I do to help keep their tanks in good cond. with feed back on their methods.

its easy.. i have a bare bottom 210 with two overflows, one in each back corner with returns in the same spot.. so all the poop magically pile into two nice piles on the bottom.

what you do is use a siphon.. but take off that big part. so basically its a tube that sucks the water.. run it across the poop area.. and all done. takes a couple mins and all poop is gone.

I was just wondering out of curiosity. I am not really a fan of a bare bottom tank and I was just wondering what you liked about it. I am sure you take excellent care of your pets. I understood what you meant the first time.:) I, too, am always looking for ways to DIY. All hobby stuff is overpriced(no matter the hobby). Sometimes you can make a non hobby piece do the same thing you need at a fraction of the cost. Or, you could spend all your money on a sh** sucker and not have the money for your Monster tank.:D

Lol... "A $h!t sucker"
Thats funny.
