How I Improved the directed flow from the output of my FX5

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
increased the current and flow in my tank by at LEAST double

Hmmmmm...
A little bit of exaggeration, eh?

:lol3:

i have heard of people increasing flow but i fail to come up with a logical explanation of how thats possible maybe a little with a less restricted spraybar or something but double seems impossible to me

You can in fact increase the pressure at the nozzle but cutting it down to one output, but that does not increase the flow.

Not quite.

The flow itself did not go up, but the force of it is drastically increased, perhaps I should have used better wording. Fail troll is fail, Ill have pics up when I get some free time tonight.

I guess its like putting your thumb over the end of a water hose,it comes out at a higher velocity or pressure if you know what i mean, i may try it.

Everything Pharoah said is true and to take the concept to the logical conclusion :
If you increase the velocity of the water exiting the return by reducing and therefore restricting the diameter of the return you will as a consequence reduce the volume of water returned.
Not Theoretically. Not sort of. Not maybe. For Sure.;)
