How many of ya'll actually use carbon in your filter? Is it necessary to have one? Because I've stopped using it for quite a while and I relaly see no difference..

Carbon is not necessary. I use it only when I want the tannins and medicines removed out of the tank.

u dont need carbon. i never used carbon since i started keepin fish. only times is to take out meds when im too lazy to do a wc.
ya u probably dont NEED it but i use it anyway just cuz. i dont necessarily see a difference, but if it supposedly helps i figured why not
