I'm not married. Nor is my daughter hers, HOWEVER... That's just the point, it's been 3 years, she plays mom because mom isn't really around 99% of the time. So it's not just me affected, i see real remorse and immediate desire to work on things. It really hasn't been a bad 3 years either

More mistake. She basically told me without telling me. I put two an two together. Her reasoning wasn't, well, necessarily ok but I sure understand why she felt the way she did. Just don't think she acted appropriately.

I went through something similar a few years ago except I'm the one playing parent because the real one hasn't been around in over a decade. When I went through this we separated for a few months(married), lived our own lives and actually dated a little bit. We both decided that we would rather be dating each other so we started doing that again, then started going to counseling to work on the underlying issues that led to the big incident. Eventually we moved back in together and tried not to make the same mistakes that we did before.
 
Yes I can forgive her. She cried for two days and said she felt so bad she wanted to leave I asks her to stay and it got even worse. She thought I was going to yell scream and throw her out. So as it stands she's here know taking it one step at a time.

I made an apt this Tuesday to start counseling, she isn't 100% but that's ok because I think I need it more considering the underlying issue.
