It all depends on the relationship, each case being its own case.

Fault, if one call it fault, lies always on both sides.

True love is the one you let go. If it never comes back, it never was true love in any case...

And that cheating stuff and not forgiving stuff is for youngsters who still think they know it all.

No one, but no one, is the owner of another person's heart, and to think otherwise is to confuse love with posession.

It's his fault his chick decided to mess around with another dude behind his back? Hahaha... no. If she had integrity, she would have ended the relationship first.
Relationships are quite simple in this respect. If the commitment of monogamy is there, don't cheat, and treat your partner with respect. It seems we get one shot at this life, you deserve someone who doesn't mess around on you and hurt you.

First i saw nothing about cheating, only leaving.

And, also with cheating, it only happens because you feel the space for it....both are to blame, imho.

If life was so black or white, and not "european grey " , we would be machines...

Of course you deserve respect, and truth. But is not allways possible. Sadly, but that is the way things are.

Wow, this is opening a tottally new can of worms... would lead to whole new directions...

Just try to understand that no one owns another one's heart. There is no compromise that can override it.

If it happens, it should of course happen with respect and tryying to avoid as much pain as possible.

But some pains cannot be avoided. Either on one side or on the other.

Judging from the divorce rate and number of swingers clubs around Americans have a very loose interpretation of commitment as well.
