yeah, the poor guy was devastated. a grown man too :-/
he didn't know it was illegal to raise a fallen baby bird.
 
These wildlife protection talibans do far more damage than good.

Here it is the same with wild caughts.

I have another friend with ravens and jays ( it is the same with crows and ravens, by the way ), and when those guya show up he juat opens the doors to the big cages and lets them loose...they all return by nightfall :)
 
Lol. the workers here are more militant. they'd have night vision binoculars on, as if you were the drug cartel.
 
I know what you mean. Militant is the word. Even if for protection they euthanize the animal....

But with tnse friend of mine they know it, they see the birds flying away and they know they will return by nightfall...what can they do? Fine him or have him destroy his cages? Nowhere would they manage it in a court here...

You're right on that Miguel, that sounds like PETA over here. But then we have other groups here that say they do good but just prey upon the weak minded and naive.
