How is everyone running their UV Sterilizers?

Nice, using this method would I have to position the UV above the sump, or would I be able to just put it on the floor and have the return plumbing go back to the sump?

thats up to you, i prefer to mount them on the back of the stand or wall with
quick disconnects so when i need to change the uv bulb its easier and i
dont have break my back or anything to get it. not to mention i can put a
bucket under it and catch any excess water in the pipes and its cleaner
without having all the wires get caught on it.

I think one true union ball valve on the inlet would be sufficient to control flow and disconnect. For the outlet, a union would do.

On second ball valve is good too for outlet to keep water from back flow. Come to think of it that's what I have on my closed loop pump LOL.
