Power went out for about 6 hrs last night then came back on. The eye has been sitting over me for the last 4 hrs but when it finally does move the bad side of the storm will be hitting.

We lost power six hours ago. Got the battery powerd pump running and circulating the other tank manually. I tried putting my rehab angel back in the big tank and my bichir chomped him and carried him around the tank. Lucky I rescued him. Winds are harsh out here, still no power.

Central Texas doesn't ever get fallouts from hurricanes to the east of us. Even when IKE hit Houston it was sunny and hot all day as IKE went up east Texas

The back side of the storm seems real mellow so far. I still have power but we are under a boil water alert and that may last a couple of weeks so no water changes for a while.
