How is it that every hybrid has BD blood now?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I agree Mike. I think people just put bd in there to jack up the price, and too make them more appealing. Plus with the development of stingrays. They may look nice as pups so people say they are bds. But turn out ugly as adults because they are some different cross

I tried to give my male BDs some training when i intro a big matured hybrid female which just gave birth into their tank and the males couldn't care less about her but a few days later when i release my female BDs in the tank immediately the males rape her ! My point is BDs can be quite raycist and to be able to breed them with other species can be quite difficult and unbelievable hence i'll quite scepitcal when i see all these BD hybrids flooding the market :( Or is it only me and my rays  Anyone here has success with crossing Bds with hybrids ?

Paper doesn't blush ;)
People buy a BD male and even if it not yet mature, that one's the supposedly 100% father of all their future pups :screwy: .......concerning this, I would only trust in really GOOD friends.

I'm in between on this subject. If these BD hybrids are real, they would be coming from asia. They have probably 50x the amount of BD (and any other fancy ray for that matter) that we have in the states. But if you ask me BD is the real sham. So many of them look like average leos. Where does the leo stop and the BD start... right at the tip of the highest dollar if you ask me.

The asian folk have all the nice ones anyways.
