You said yours was 2.5"....why are you being *****y?

my bad, i meant to add "when i got them" to one of the sentances. the last pic it is about 3.5"

im not being whatever is blanked out, im trying to show you that your GT is far from a healthy size and should not be so skinny. it is not getting enough to eat or it would not have lost weight from when you purchased it. I would suggest separating until it gets a little more size so it can wade into the SD's and compete for the food or it will eventually get very ill.

This is what a healthy gt should look like. This one is mine :)

Yeh but that is a large adult male...as far as i know mine is a female under just under 4".

I'm upping the feeding now...the damn silver dollars are a nightmare and growing at a alarmign rate...i was thinking of adding more to.... hmmm lol

Shall i get some smaller dithers aswell to make her more confident? like some Tiger Barbs... even if they don't work out in the end?

She is the least confident feeder....she will come and eat out of my hand but she doensent eat much flake even if i put loads in...she wont eat anything that floats like hikari floating pellets (tried every variety) and shes not to interested in the sinking pellets.

Anything that is not dried...she will eat no problems.

My JD is much shyer than her in the tank but eats better.....my Vieja Argentea eats anything and will fight for it, my Texas is lazy but will eat it if it floats her way and my Convicts eat like the silver dollars do.

i'd say remove the dithers all together til your GT fattens up!

I got nowhere to remove them to and money don't grow on trees...i aint giving them away
