Hi Liz

Lost everything here in Cedar Rapids, IA due to the flooding here on the Cedar River.
Water didn't get in to my tanks though, and now I have a tank set up in my mothers garage with my 10+" jag Jig Jig. I gave the 6" jag along with several other fish to a LFS because I don't have the room here in the garage for all the tanks to be set up and running.
I'll tell you that flood made one hell of a mess here and I about broke my neck getting this tank, and what I could salvage out of the house. Wouldn't wish a flood like that on anyone.
I personally haven't been affected by tornadoes, but knew 2 people in Parkersburg who lost their house to the EF-5 tornado there.
At the moment I'm sitting out in the garage, (hacking in to someone,to the West of me's router) checking my email and browsing MFK. Can't wait till I have my own connection again, this weak signal connection crap is for the birds.

Oh, is the six incher the really nasty one that they had to put in a tank by itself? That thing has some attitude! Nice jag though.

I'll guess that is the one. They origionally dropped it in with a huge black belt, and I thought...... Poor black belt. LOL
That jag was a bad ass alright, wouldn't even back down from jig jig almost twice his size, Jig Jig would have tore him up though, I had them both in the same tank for about 15 minutes, then had to swoop it back to his own tank.

Nawww....., I won't be able to get into my new apartment for another 6 weeks. I also need to get Jig Jig a bigger tank before I get any more fish.
What I want in the future is a pair of louisellis, or maybe freddies. I might even look for a pair of motags. I want nothing but Parachromis for my fish, although I will have a tank of convicts again. Love them cons, a cool little bad _$$ fish and good feeders for the parachromis I'll have. I'd like to have a dovii, but I won't be able to swing 2 tanks that size, for 2 single fish.
I was helping my new landlord hang tyvec on the outside of the building tonight...... he says 6 weeks for me to be able to get in. I can't wait to get outa my mothers house, I'm 46 years old and am treated like I'm 14 all over again. I'd quit smoking 4 months ago, soon as I moved in here.... 2 and a half packs a day, once again. I'm going to stop with that being said so as I don't say something I'll regret at a later time.

So your back into smoking again..no wonder with all this stress..i would be too... you have all endured more then most of us ever will... sometimes it does not seem right that good people have such hard times... but soon you will look back and be stronger from it... just keep looking ahead right now...i wish you the best.
