i dont know why your getting rid of the puffer. Coolest fish in the tank :(

If theres no problems then whats the problem lol?

Watching them grow takes years. My PP puffer never ate any of my inverts. Its trial and error dude, no error, no problem.

This is true. There are no rules to reefkeeping. If it works for you, it works for you. Same as dont fix what isnt broken.

The anemone will go where it is happiest, just make sure that it stays happy...an aneomone "implosion" is the last thing in the world you want. Had one with a huge carpet anemone and my whole aquarium turned the color of milk...not good.

Thanks canuck we refer to him as a helicopter since we took off the background he swims around staring at himself..Also I just noticed many white dots on his fins and I'm prepared into placing him into my hospital tank, but I'm missing the hood. Should I still place him in the hospital tank even with out the light? Also I have a few pieces of live rock and sand in thier to keep ammonia down. Also I need to remove the rocks before i medicate right? Well so far he has no problems with the inverts like some tiny hermit crabs in the tank, he swims up to them and nothing happens to them....lol cute little bugger. Thanks canuck again because many people have been telling me that I have to get rid of him, but I dont I like him he was the first fish in the tank....

Also what does "Implosion" mean?

Implosion is a word my brother and I use for what aneomones do when they die. We also say "nuke". This is just because of how bad **** gets in your tank when they decide to do that.

Have you ever killed aptasia using joes juice, aptasia x, or the similar? They just shrink up till they dissappear...thats why we say "implode"...like explode only reversed. Its slang...and not scientificly correct, but like I said. Its slang.

I personaly don't QT anything. Buying from a reputable source and having pristine water quailty is key.... Prevention is the best way to cure ick. Now having said that, moving him would just be more stress. Get your water checked out, and lets hear the results. They may just be sand sticking to his slime coat due to stress or many other things. Keep your water conditions the best you can, and keep an eye on him. You can raise the temp and lower the salinity, but a healthy tank with healthy unstressed fish can live in a tank that is covered in ick. ick can break out in anyones tank on mfk, almost every tank has it, just the break outs are deadly.
