How long before i worry?.......

Just got my RTC/TSN mix Weds,he still hasnt eaten yet,I am worried because i never owned a catfish that wouldnt take raw shrimp.He is 3 inches,should i be worried??

if hes fat dont worry but if he is skinny you should be worried hell start to swim around when hes hungry

Unless he's skinny skinny... don't worry to much... if you want to get him kick started though you could always try some blood worms... or some muscles always works for me when my cats won't eat...

He is not fat,but i wouldnt call him skinny ,his head kinda always looks like he is looking up,kinda wierd,he is a really nice looking cat though.

The first one I had died over night the first night, but the one I got as a replacement is still doing fine now weeks later and twice the length, I would follow what's already been suggested, and try to get him to eat, but I think once he gets settled in he will.

I used bloodworms for the first week and they all went down well. I would drop them in just before you turn out the light at night.

try other foods besides shrimp. It might like worms, beef heart, feeders, etc.

He just took a piece of shrimp!!Whew!!!Right now he is in a 20 long(only 3 inches)i want him to put on some length so that he can go in with the big boys.
