How long can a 6 inch. Silver Arowana can last in a 50 Gal. tank ???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if properly cared for, 2" growth per month,
arowana need the length of tank as 3*length of body n width 1.5*length of body
but can cramp the length till 2.5* length of body

after tht u need a new tank

my silver aro grew up from 6" to 20" inches in 12 months, thus your aro is good for one year in your tank. after that, you will find that your fish will bite his/her own tail due to tank size.

no. he/she will lost his/her tail and will have some deformities due to tank size... whenever an aro sees his/her tail when turning, he/she will grab it thinking it is food....then dart aimlessly when hurt himself/herself
