i am moving back to ukaine. i was going to sell all my fish, but i am thinking that maybe i can take my bichirs with me.
would they be alright if i wrap them in a wet towel for the duration of a flight (16 hours)? they are too big to be packaged in bags with water. i dont want to attract too much attention with huge bags filled with water.

Uhm... I honestly don't know but it REALLY doesn't sound like a good idea to me..

EDIT: You don't have any family or close friends where you live right now to over night ship them to you once you get to your new home?

i believe what i've heard is about 8 hours is max but im not 100% sure

i am just exploring all options. i was going to check them in as luggage. i have done that before with catfish and they were fine.
i might try to overnight them. but i am afraid that they might get stuck somewhere.

you're guarenteed a DOA

Not sure if most customs officials at either airport would be that thrilled with you transporting live animals internationaly either, you might find it more trouble than its worth.
