I will be out of town for a week for spring break and there will be no one here to watch over my fish. Will it be ok to leave them for a week w/o food?

Depends on the fish. Can you give us a list? Also, do you have fresh/salt.

:iagree:

This is for freash fish

But to answer your question in general, the majority of fish can go 2 weeks without food. To answer your question in detil you most post the fish and its environment. If your going to be gone for say a week and a half you should be fine. I personality would feed them simi-heavily quantity of food leading up to your vacation. Do not over dose.

The way my LMB looks at me, no more than ten minutes.

Id just buy a cheapo Automatic feeder or feeder blocks an hope for the best.
