Thank you buddy.

How long would you cycle a new tank? My new bichir setup runs almost 2 weeks now. I filled it with 10% water from my old bichir setup and added some snails at day one. The snails still do fine. One hour ago i added 12 neon tetra as test fish. I want finally add my bichirs! ha ha so tell me, when would be right?
I will explain it again. The tank is cycled. I used test kits and added the snails in perfect water parameters. Then after few days i added the Tetras. I slowly increase the amount of animals i put into the tank so the bioload is slowly increasing.
He doesn't seem to understand that his question doesn't make sense if he's saying his water is perfect. Also no where did he state he checked the water param's except after adding the neon's. He also said he's testing the water with the neons and now is saying he did previously with a test kit. So why did he add the neons? To increase the bioload he says. Okay so why do you need to increase the bioload? As far as I understand and I could be wrong, you add a bioload gradually to cycle a tank. Why not add the poly's to increase the bioload? Am I wrong? Did I miss something? If your water is so called "perfect" add them now. Simple yes?
Yeah, I must be missing something to mane. I would of just add the poly's and then monitor the tank. Why add neons? hell if I know. and adding 10% water from a established tank to a new tank wont do crap...as stated in OP original post.He doesn't seem to understand that his question doesn't make sense if he's saying his water is perfect. What really sucks is I was hoping to be enlightened. I really can be quite prideful, but more times than not I'm open to being taught something. I genuinely asked the questions hoping to get some info. out of it. I was also hoping to enjoy a intellectual convo. with the OP, I actually meant no offense. I just wanted to understand his points on animal abuse and his points on cycling.Yeah, I must be missing something to mane. I would of just add the poly's and then monitor the tank.
