I bought 5 Orinos in August, they were around 1.5". Now they're at 4". Been feeding them Hikari Aro sticks (2x a day) in a 40g grow out tank. Break the Aro sticks in 3 pieces in the beginning, now they can eat the whole stick.
how long do Orino's take to grow!

Got mine at 1 inch near end of May now they are 6.5 inches. I just measured mine that died last night. 
I have 2 orinos. I got them last september at 6cm. after a month they are at 7.5 cm already. I feed them live all the time like some advises here to feed small ones live to attain a faster growth rate
im gonna buy three of these little guys on monday and see how it goes.with a bit of luck it will work for me!! lol thnx 4 all ur input guys much appretiated!

I put them in my 300gallon sump tank. It must be the water quality~I can almost see them grow!
Verdict, choose the largest tank to grow your pbass fries if you could. Doesn't matter even if they are in the sump. If your aro's tank has a sump you should do that. Aro is a slow grower and the pbass will catch up in 6 months top. Good luck
