ooops!! i messed up. i havnt had my light on in my p tank for more than a month!!!

I THOUGHT I WAS DOING GOOD by them being more relaxed, didnt realise it did them good...

24/7, never off, peacock bass, before i it was super red, and NTT, IT, now just peacock and green terror. i'm suprised it still didn't burn out yet

is 6700, before with the aro was 18k light

oh for those who think that's ridiculous...well the fish is not dead yet :)

my tanks are all on timers set for 8 hours of daylight 10k and actinic after and before daylight dusk and dawn lights take over which are just some whit LEDs giving the appearance of sunrise and sunset for about 1 hour and after both of those cycles are done it switches to blue LEDs for moonlighting

I'm just curious, to all those who have lets say lightly planted tanks and have your lights on for say over 8 - 10 hours a day, do you have any algae problems at all???

no algea.. i have my swimming garbage cans in there... my sae my green phantom my featherfin an gibbicep....
also prolly many ppl dont kno this but gouramis love to eat beard algea...
i bought a java mat prolly worth around $20 at my lfs priced at $7 because of black beard algea.....
its been basiclly picked clean by my gouramis and sae....

No plants so about 6-7 hours a day, I think my Oscars and Silver Dollars appreciate less light.
