How long do you leave your lights on?

Timers are set for 12-10pm. The morning sun wakes up the fish. The lights are used for the plants.

I use two 60'' T-5 4 bulb & LED lights with timer. They turn off at 7am, when the natural day lights starts. At 3pm two flouresant white lights come on at 3pm around the time I get home from work, then at 6pm the 2 blue lights comes on while the white light are still on, which really helps bring out the color of the fish, then at 10pm it goes to a midnight moonlight (LED) night time effect, which is cool becasue I can sit in the room and watch all the fish come out as if they are in the dark, especially my Tigrinis cat and Clown knives fish. Then at 7am they go off again and start the process all over again. I love these Aquaticlife light fixtures coolest thing ever.

I turn my lights on just before i leave for work around 10am and turn them off around 8pm

My paludarium gets a little more light and i turn them off at 9-10pm

i turn my moonlights on at about 7, hood light on at 10, then hood off, moon on at 8 and i turn the moonlights off before i go to bed.

I feel like the moons reduce the intial shock of lighting coming on all at once, and my spiny eels seem to come out and play earlier
