72 is in the living room and I will zone in and out between TV Nd the tank. My 220 is at the foot if my bed so I watch it for about 30 mins before I go to sleep and prolly 30 mins in the AM before I get up and get ready for work...
The 240 is in the living room just to the right of my throne. I am disabled, so at home most of the time. Short answer, 3-4 hours a day. The 29 downstairs I sit and observe maybe an hour and a half a week total. I don't clean it every week. The tanks in the basement that are not setup I look at and dream..... someday......
I have my throne down in the basement and facing my tanks.Lol and I also have a huge tank that I stare at sometimes and will get around to setting up some day.
I have 3 tanks and will look in each one for at least 45 mins a day. On the weekends, I will stare into them more. My fish help me relax and they are my get away.
Depends on what else is happening. Some days I cant sit there for hours other days I dont stop to watch at all. Generally I would eat dinner in front of a tank so 20mins there but lately I've been so busy.
I might spend about half an hour a day. Unfortunately I only have a solitary African butterfly fish...so what it's doing doesn't really change hour to hour. If I'm SUPER lucky he will have drifted maybe 4 inches in the current and he slowly swims back to where he was, other times he drifts and gets stuck on a plant and just stays there. That's always depressing.
