How long does it take to do maintenance on your tanks?

How long does it take you from draining the tank to closing the lid?
Also what kind of maintenance do you do ? Is it just water changes?
clean filter media ? clean the substrate? wipe the glass /acrylic?

Also how many times do you do this in a week?
 
Water change takes me about 15 minutes. Done every day or every other day.

Cleaning the filter media takes about 5 minutes. Done once every 2 weeks.

Wiping the tank takes less than a minute. Done whenever the acrylic is dirty.

Ioscatare - me too bro.. takes me 1-2 hours to drain and fill up tank. I put the faucet
on slow when fillling back the tank because i usually do 65% and up water changes every 3 days. I clean the media every other week and i alternate bet the 3 filters .
I rarely wipe the glass clean... :D Im usually tired when i get to that point so i just skip it.
 
i say 1-2 hrs cause i do my 3 tanks in the same day i try to not siphon/waterchange and clean filter in the same day but i change/siphon tanks twice a week and clean glass whenever a ba$tard touches it :swear:
 
urgh!! I dont do several tanks as my main one takes forever to fill up. I usually do the next day and i dont do water changes as much on the smaller tank. Once a week is fine.
 
i do a 50 % WC evey week, takes about half an hour, i clean my prefilter every week, to not allow the build up of scum, takes 5 min, media cleaning takes about 10 minutes, acrylic cleaning takes about 10 min, and refilling takes about 15 minutes

an hour and 10 minutes total.

waterchange and partial gravel vac 10-15 mins per tank
filters 5 mins each for the aqua clears biweeekly
10-20 mins per eheim filter every other month-Anne

D and Beblondie - how come it takes you only a few minutes to clean your filters?
Maybe i move slow and my sink is smaller (LOL) but it takes me 15-20 + minutes to clean out my canisters ... :(
 
Takes me about an hour including doing my canister which i do evey 3 weeks but when im not doing that it takes 30min if not less to drain fill and clean top filter and i do this once a week
