How long does it usually take you to break a cichla off live?

most guys here say not to starve anything less than 8". other than that, starve the bastards! 4-6 days of not eating is not that long IMO. if its been months, then you should worry lol


no topwater smashing they dont even look at anything but live.
 
I agreed with previously mentioned. Train your fish to wait on top and ready to hit top water. You can accomplish this by dropping blackworm or guppy one at a time..................... or the worst..... send them to my tank and get trained in 1 week. Result guarantee !! :ROFL::ROFL:
