Pond Prime is very concentrated: this 500ml size treats 10,000gallons. Use 1/8 cup (2 tablespoons) for each 600-700 gallons for removing chlorine or chloramine. To detoxify high concentrations of ammonia or nitrite, use 1/4 to 1/2 cup for each 600 gallons
Compare to Prime - 16.9 oz - $11.59
Use 1 capful for each 50 gallons of new water. This dose removes approximately .6 mg/L ammonia, 3 mg/l chloramine, or 4 mg/L chlorine.

The question is though how do I dose for a 55 tank though. If 2 tablespoons does 600 how much would I need for a 55. That's the only potential problem that I could see is dosing for tiny amounts compared to a pond which might have 1000 gals. Pretty cheap though. I don't think I need that much though. I wouldn't want it to go bad or anything if it took me 2 years to use it all.
Like I said maybe it's more than a month, lol. I'll start to make sure I'm using it right, lol. Maybe I am over dosing by a little bit, lol. Thanks guys.
