i usually manage to get my arowana to eat after 4hours in the new tank. abit of big leaf plants and abit of black water. that will do the job. 4 hours later, arowana's ready to eat. small pieces of market prawns. hope this help in your coming arowanas! BECAUSE YOU'LL NEVER GET ENOUGH AROWANAS!

Aro's should eat literally 1 hour or so after getting into tank, assuming the aro havent been fed for a day before the travel, it should be hungry and should eat quick!y!
Your best bet is probably crickets, they seem to love that with the movement etc.

I hope the aro eats for you by now. Some aro doesn't like relocating, take a few days to a couple of weeks to adjust. Your aro is small, should adjust well. Keep your tank temp in the range of 82-86, with a lot of dissolved oxygen will help to get him eat.
