how long have u had your herp???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the longest was my first leo 14 years (rip) but now that i breed id say 4-5 years i dont have enough room to keep old breeders its sad but i always give them away to good homes to people who will not breed them again cause as we all know over breeding will shorten there lives

Vicious_Fish for the win!

I've had my Snappy for about six or seven years.

I've had my snapper since he was a lil baby and is now a little over 4 years old. My Chinese Water Dragon I've had for over a year and a half now, although he's much older than that.

My original pair still breeds and I just hatched a pair of their eggs last month. Just food for thought.

That's because you keep feeding your leos steroids lol

No, it's probably because I keep them on sand! :grinno: Muhahahahahaaa....!
I don't care what people say. I kept my breeding pair of leos on sand the entire time I had them-not a single problem. I already have my new beardie's cage set up with sand (of course with him it should be even less of a problem as he will be fed from a bowl)

fire belly newts (four years)
Gargoyle gecko (two weeks)... ya i no im a noob lol :(

my peninsula cooter left my pond........... he was 1 1/4 yrs old......... T T

"Snappers are said to live to around 40 years in captivity but I'm sure they can live even longer if you take good care of them"

ya, thats what im going for lol........ i have read up to 80 tho, (rare of course)

in one yr he grew 4x his size, had im for almost 1yr and 1month

im really happy about that
