How long have you gone between fish purchases?

It's been about 2 months give or take a week since i bought my last fish. As I get ready to setup my new 125 and add 1 more fish (okay maybe 2) I was wondering how long you guys have gone between purchases. Some of you guys change fish like I change socks.

I think you need to rephrase the question.

If you trade or get a fish free you get your "fish fix" without spending.

Better question would be is how long can you go without a "Fish Fix"?

Agreed! How long can you go without a fish fix? I am jonesing right now...Should pickup the 125 tomorrow and have it up and ready by the end of next week or so. Now I'm looking for something to contrast my RD's bright orange and white. So I should get my fix in about 1-2 weeks. ..

Oh yeah rosies guppies or any other type of fish used as a feeder doesn't count!!!

I usually get some new fish about once a week, depending on tank space. Right now my tanks are pretty full, so I am filling other peoples tanks.

I have made it 72 hours without purchasing a fish...you should change your socks more often.
