How Long Till They Die ???

Hey guys, just wondering how long fish can survive in the bags from the lfs, coz i was lookin at buyin fish from like 2 hours or so away in brissy. would you suggest travelling with them in the bags or putting them into some other king of container?

They should be ok if its only 2 hours. If you can, bring a change of water for them. But, if the lfs is respectable, they will have an oxygen system, and if they have one, then the fish will be fine.

Is Pure Oxygen going into those thing i think. Or it can just be a little tank that pumps air into it to save them the trouble of blowing up the bag. One lfs i go to they use a can that they get every week from some air dude. But what u can do it make a little mini tank in the car get a ice chest and put a bat pwer air pump in in. OR if ur lucky like me i have AC converter So i can plug and roll.

i have one too, maybe i'll do that, but i need something quiter i think....can't stand that noise of the air pump for 2 hours.....needs to be placed perfect or else they have an annoying noise.

Ask them if they have pure oxygen and they will be perfectly fine.

if you putt that on and turn up the volume you won hear anything

yup...drive fast, your biggest enemy depending on where you are will be the temperature flux!

also if you buy more than one fish have them bag them all up seperately.
