maybe if i put like a jumper around the bags or something like that?? someone was sayin a while back that they put a dark shirt over the bag to keep the fish less stressed i suppose i should do that as well

yea i do that as well, what i have seen in the shops are these tablets that you supposedly put in the water, i think they are oxygen tablets or something similar anyone used anything like that before?
they'll be fine for 2 hours, put them in one of those cheap styrofoam coolers or a beercooler if you're worried about temperature.
My friend had a flowerhorn go for 9 hours because of a traffic jam, but that was pushin' it.
If you're really worried, buy one of these:

Also, if you're worried about stress, dump in a bit of aquaplus, most fish suppliers ship their fish in almost pure aquaplus.
