How long to leave Jaguar cichlid parents with fry?

Ive just introduced a male and female jag cichlid to my tank , i have. An oscar , jack dempsey and an acara aswell , if they spawn will the others eat them

It'll depend on the size of the aquarium, Jags are phenomenal parents with huge spawns and very prolific. No doubt the others will take the opportunity to swipe a few fry but with the species you mentioned there likely won't be too much of a challenge protecting the majority. The bigger risk here is the pair potentially killing the less aggressive species already within your aquarium.
