How long until my Flowerhorn dies?

I can't believe it!!!! I walked up to his tank and he was swimming around all excited to see me. I dropped in some cichlid gold like usual, expecting to have to get it out of the tank after he ignores it again, and BAM... hit the top of the water and gobbled it up! I was so happy I started cheering him on as he ate. He kinda puked most of it out a little later, but he must be feeling a bit better.
The white poo continues, but now I can treat his food and try to knock it out that way.....what's the best medicated food for hex?

It's great to hear he's feeling better! My fish have never accepted the medicated pellets on the market. I think your best bet may be to take out maybe 1/4 cup of tank water and soak 1/4 tablet of Jungle Parasite Clear Jungle Tabs in that water. Then add whatever food you want to use (pellets, frozen shrimp, etc.) and soak it for about 10 minutes then offer it to him. I'd use something especially tasty because the metronidazole in the tabs will inevitably make it taste less than favorable. If you can get him to ingest the soaked food for about 5 days or so, I'd say you'll have a good chance of eliminating the intestinal parasites. It would also not hurt to treat the entire tank with the Jungle tabs as well, because he will be shedding the organisms in his poo that may still persist in the tank environment. Good luck!
 
He's doing great!! The poo is looking pretty normal now, and he's eating fine.. I tried to put him in my new 240 long and he went right after the 2' Arowana! He moved back home. Thanks for the support guys!!!
